DESCRIPTION

The Ouroboros pendant has a lot of meaning to me, but the core of it comes from my own hyper-independence. The snake eating its own tail represents self-sustainability, not needing external validation or reliance, but it also carries a darker truth. Sometimes, in trying to be strong or self-sufficient, we unknowingly hurt ourselves or fall into patterns of self-sabotage.

To me, this piece is a reminder to step back and reflect. To question whether the things we think are helping us are actually serving us. It also represents cycles, rebirth, and the idea that growth often comes from recognising and breaking our own patterns.
