Human emotions are deeper than happy and sad. Deeper than anything I could've hoped to portray on a ring.
Then I thought, what if I just showed the two baselines and left the rest for interpretation.
The Reflection ring is exactly that - a moment to reflect on the fact that happiness and sadness are two sides of the same coin. I personally don't see the need to rotate the ring depending on how I'm feeling. I simply like knowing that the darkest days, the heaviest rains, and the wildest storms eventually give way to sunshine.
The good days are easy and the tough days shape you. Both are intrinsically intertwined to what makes us human, and this ring is a daily reflection of that.
